yes, I am alive. school has been pressing, but I've found some free time. ummm for those who don't know already, I've joined the school marching band... and we kick ass. fer shizzle. I play bass guitar, and it's mighty sweet. we have off school today, teacher in-service, so that's cool. ummm homecoming is coming up, I'm going with katie smith, anyone not going: go. it'll be fun. school has been pretty good, can't complain. for the most part, i love all of my teachers, which is a plus. Mr. Portas is the man. ummm what else... i don't know. lemme know you still read this.

Well, it's been awhile since an update, and I'm pretty bored at the present moment. last night i went to the 'Stormers game with Ed, that was great. No matter the circumstances, when truly great friends get together, you're bound to have an amazing amount of fun. Plus, they won. Always a good thing. School begins soon, a little more than a week. I admit it, I am actually ready to return to school. I'm ready to get back into normal routine, see friends everyday, and have a good time. Class of '09, fo shizzle. I started reading "The Great Gatsby." It has lulled my interest slighty, but I must comment on the poor writing form. The author uses many complicated words, which I have no problem understanding when sprinkled in speech from time to time, but strung together one after another it can become quite confusing. I also must critize the author's dialogue skills, which aren't the best. I find myself reading dialogue maybe two or three times to figure out who's speaking. Not how I wish to read a book. Ah well, this too shall pass. And soon, I'll find myself in the confort of routine, sitting in class, expanding my knowledge. Have a good one.
